After a couple of bad experiences with Lith Ion ( rigid ) I went back to the tried and true Ni Cad.On my work truck I have a 14.4 dewalt and the thing sits there in the cold Iowa winters and it still works a long time between charges, and while working on a large job with serveral trades working I noticed the guys working mostly with the smaller voltage Ni Cads and did a little survey and found for 90% of the work thats all you really need and light weight with long run times and cheaper battery replacement costs it just fits. The Makita is replacing a 18v rigid that even when new never worked when it was ...
