I bought one of these without guide rail a couple months ago and it has been invaluable. I bought a Festool 55" rail to go with it, since they are compatible and Festool has more accessories (which would probably work on the Makita rails too). I built my own multi function table, including a Kreg flip-stop system. It makes a great little panel saw. I found that the dust bag from my Dewalt miter saw fits it and collects 80-90%; goodbye vacuum hose. Okay down to pros and cons.Pros:It is British-made (with a Japanese name??).
