To start with I am giving this one star because there is no choice for no stars. I bought this drill in april 2010 to replace a similar model I had for over 8yrs that disappeared on a job site. I was a huge Makita fan having owned more than 20 of their tools going back to the late 80s. They were made in America and lasted. Both keys to my love affair with Makita tools. I needed new 18v batteries to run my other 18v makita tools since they disappeared with my drill.
